Brush Clearing Project in Ford City, PA

About This Project

This brush clearing project was completed on a property in Ford City, Armstrong County, PA. The landowner had several acres of overgrown brush, briars, and invasive species that had taken over what was once productive land. SHS Land Clearing was brought in to reclaim the property using forestry mulching and brush cutting equipment.

What We Did

• Cleared approximately 3 acres of overgrown brush on a Ford City area property
• Removed multiflora rose, autumn olive, bush honeysuckle, and briars
• Used forestry mulching to grind all vegetation in a single pass
• Left a clean, mulched surface — no burning, no hauling
• Property is now accessible and ready for reseeding or further development

The Result

The Ford City property owner now has clean, accessible land where overgrown brush once made the property unusable. The forestry mulching process left a natural mulch layer that will break down and improve the soil. The entire project was completed efficiently with minimal ground disturbance.
