Pasture Reclamation Project in Zelienople, PA

About This Project

This pasture reclamation project was completed on a farm in Zelienople, Butler County, PA. The farm owner had a pasture that had been out of production for several years and was heavily overgrown with brush, invasive species, and small trees. SHS Land Clearing was hired to reclaim the pasture and prepare it for reseeding.

What We Did

• Reclaimed approximately 5 acres of overgrown pasture on a Zelienople area farm
• Removed brush, invasive species, and small trees using forestry mulching
• Cleared and restored fence lines around the perimeter of the pasture
• Mulched all material in place — no burning or hauling required
• Pasture graded and prepared for reseeding with grass and clover mix

The Result

The Zelienople farm owner now has a productive pasture back in service. The reclaimed land is ready for reseeding and will be available for grazing within one growing season. The fence lines are clear and the perimeter is secure.
