Fence Line Clearing Project in Unity Township, PA

About This Project

This fence line clearing project was completed on a rural property in Unity Township, Westmoreland County, PA. The property owner had several hundred feet of fence line that had been overtaken by multiflora rose, autumn olive, and woody brush over several years of neglect. SHS Land Clearing was called in to restore the fence lines and make the property functional again.

What We Did

• Cleared approximately 400 linear feet of overgrown fence line on a Unity Township area property
• Removed multiflora rose, autumn olive, and woody brush growing through and over the fence
• Used a combination of forestry mulching and hand cutting to work safely around existing fence posts
• Chipped and mulched all debris on-site — no hauling required
• Left fence line open, accessible, and ready for inspection and repair

The Result

The Unity Township property owner now has clear, accessible fence lines throughout the property. The fence can be inspected, repaired, and maintained going forward. The job was completed in a single day with no damage to existing fence posts or wire.
