Trail Clearing Project in Upper Saint Clair, PA

About This Project

This trail clearing project was completed on a wooded property in Upper Saint Clair, Allegheny County, PA. The property owner wanted to create accessible trails through their wooded acreage for hiking, horseback riding, and general property access. SHS Land Clearing cut and cleared the trail system to the owner's specifications.

What We Did

• Cut and cleared approximately 1,200 linear feet of trail through wooded property near Upper Saint Clair
• Trail width cleared to 10 feet with 14-foot overhead clearance for horse access
• Removed brush, low-hanging branches, and small trees along the trail corridor
• All debris chipped and mulched on-site
• Trail system left accessible and ready for immediate use

The Result

The Upper Saint Clair property owner now has a fully accessible trail system through their wooded property. The trails are wide enough for horses and equipment, with clear overhead clearance. The project was completed in two days with minimal impact on the surrounding woodland.
